What I Brought Home from the LSS Conference

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the LSS conference — and what a wonderful experience it turned out to be. I set out hoping to sharpen how I run and grow Royal Seal Mobile Notary, and I came home with far more than I expected: a notebook full of marketing lessons, a mind full of fresh ideas, and a genuine sense of gratitude. A full day of learning

Much of the day focused on marketing, and it was time well spent. I picked up practical, down-to-earth strategies for reaching more of my community, telling my story more clearly, and showing up consistently for the people who need a trusted, bilingual notary. It was a good reminder that running a small business well means never quite being finished learning — and that's a part of this work I truly love.

The people made it special

As valuable as the sessions were, the people were the highlight. I met so many bright, generous, hardworking professionals who genuinely want to see one another succeed. Those conversations — swapping ideas, encouragement, and lessons learned — are the kind that stay with you long after the event ends. I left with new connections and a renewed appreciation for the community of small-business owners around me.
